There are a gazillion fun facts to share about Tuscany. However the best way to get to know it is to visit! While we provide many different tours throughout Tuscany, I wanted to share with you three of my most favorite. Obviously they involve food and wine.

1. Welcome to Florence!

Ponte Vecchio Florence

The name alone is inviting right? This tour provides the traveller with an introduction to Florence that stimulates all of the senses. Over the course of three hours, visitors will develop an intimate relationship with this city as it opens itself up through every twist and turn of its cobblestone streets. Learn of its history while sampling its delicacies and sipping vino. While perfect for those who have never been to Florence, there is so much to learn, to see, to imbibe in this gorgeous city that even the most experience Florence visitor will gain much from this tour.

2. Tuscany Vineyard Discovery

Tuscany Vineyard Discovery

Vino, vino, vino – what else do you need? This full day adventure picks you up in a private car with your personal driver and guide who whisk you through the rolling hills of Tuscany. During this experience you visit two vineyards to learn about production and obviously taste the wine. These vineyards are handpicked and represent winemaking in its truest form. In between vineyards you will enjoy lunch at a local trattoria where the menu represents the very best of local and seasonal ingredients.

3. Dine with a Local

dine with local

Nothing beats local flavor. Unless of course you are enjoying local flavor with a local. This three-hour experience starts with an aperitivo, because when in Italy… followed by dinner in an “off the beaten path” restaurant. In most cases, your guide will be greeted by the owners upon walking in, as they know this place well. To say you are in good hands is a severe understatement. Dinner will commence and the courses will continue to flow as you learn about Florentine culture from those who know it best.

So, what next?

This season has been busy to say the very least. We have been very fortunate to send clients to these tours as well as the many others we have listed on our site.
