Our second #SicilyinRome event, hosted in partnership with Chef Linda Sarris is only a few days away, on April 3rd! Join us for a relaxing evening of Sicilian food, wine pairings and fun in the Eternal City.
Those interested in learning culinary tips from can experience a “hands-on” approach cooking together delicious Sicilian recipes in the spacious Casa Mia kitchen, or just admire the work of chef Linda Sarris, as she reveals her own simple recipes that can easily be recreated at home.
The four-course menu with wine pairings will feature an antipasto of organic stone-milled chickpea fritters called panelle, dressed with lemon and parsley. The first course is organic busiate pasta, cauliflower, passolina raisins, toasted breadcrumbs and pine nuts. Our main course will be calamari stuffed with artichokes, capers and mint. No meal is complete without dolce, and no Sicilian meal is complete without hand-made cannoli with ricotta cream and candied orange peel. Dishes are paired with natural Sicilian wines, also poured throughout the evening.
